I have been helping Iron Feather out with his journal for a few years now. It's been quite "PHUN" to see it grow both in size and circulation over that time. The journal focuses on hacking, phreaking, techno music, weird info, underground culture and whatever happens to be of interest to the editor-in-chief, Steve (Mr Iron Feather himself). using an scan of this photograph that Iron Feather took while checking out raves in Great Britain in Spring of '93.

I extended the building adding windows and the Iron Feather signs, modified the text and features on the building but tried to leave as much of the original image un'touched' as possible. I used CorelDRAW to create extruded font masks for the IFJ sign and did the rest using Photoshop.
For you masochistic folks with a lot of time and a fast connection, here is the full sized cover. (600K compressed expands to 8megs so be forewarned!).

Of course if you really want to see the cover, the best way would be to order a back-issue. Don't you agree?
